3. ProasisAB – Proasis for Biologics

ProasisAB is a separate instance of the Proasis system designed specifically for biologics research.

Where Proasis is designed for chemistry teams doing small molecule drug design, ProasisAB is specifically designed for bioinformatics teams doing protein therapeutic drug design.  It organised as a binder database, rather than a target database, providing Biologics focused research teams a critical tool in their discovery workflows.

All of the protein structure data in ProasisAB is organised according to antibody clustering data, using ANARCI and results from a customised, weighted Blast-like similarity.

ProasisAB is designed to accelerate antibody research by:

• Automating the identification and classification of all domains in all protein structures with antibodies;
• Providing hierarchical classification of protein structure data based on immunological type;
• Clustering data for antibody structures; and
• Automating the creation of curated data sets for antibody structure data

ProasisAB has all the search, retrieval and analysis functionality of Proasis and can be licensed as a standalone platform or bundled with Proasis to create a powerful platform for both small molecule and biologics research.
