We have developed new technology to enable the routine analysis of the 3D structural aspects of complementarity determining regions (CDRs) aimed at facilitating the discovery of new biological entities or synthetic antibodies.
The key binding domains of antibodies are the Complementarity Determining Regions (CDRs) with a research focus on protein sequence data.
Our CDR software has been incorporated into existing Proasis tools and seamlessly links with 1D CDR protein sequence data with 3D CDR protein structure data.
We have provided you with the ability to routinely search based on sequence motifs and then visualise hits in molecular graphics applications all based on overlays of 3D CDRs.
Features include:
- a comprehensive classification of CDRs to enable antibody domains that bind to a wide variety of targets, to be compared and contrasted with 3D analysis tools
- visualisation of 3D overlays of CDR motifs that will help suggest sequence modifications leading to improved structure properties in NBEs
- exploration of protein-protein interfaces enabling the discovery of small molecule drug candidates that may disrupt the formation of protein-protein complexes
- new tools for the discovery of new protein therapeutics
