Hoffmann La-Roche to extend Desert Scientific Software collaboration

17 Jul 2011

The collaboration between Roche, Basel, Switzerland, and Desert Scientific Software, Sydney, Australia, has been arranged to continue for 2002. DesertSci will continue to provide support for Hoffmann La-Roche’s WebStar, the global web based chemoinformatics system for the prediction and retrieval of ADME properties for compounds in medicines research, originally developed with DesertSci staff. Futhermore, the agreement will provide Roche scientists with new software for chemical similarity searching based on the detection of maximum common substructures.
