Software as a Service released for free Academic access

DesertSci is pleased to announce our latest innovation, a Software as a Service site, that allows free access for the Academic Community to our cutting edge software, ViewContacts and Scorpion.  This service is extended to all researchers working in non-commercial entities for up to 1000 calculations a month. Our Software as a Service site provides “on demand” access to ViewContacts and Scorpion software through your web browser.  By developing this cost effective method of delivery, we are able to provide free academic access to technologies developed in collaboration with, and used by, leading pharma companies around the world.  We hope this latest innovation will assist in developing new insights into protein-ligand binding and may improve drug discovery for the future.
