Viper Ligand Design Tool: What’s New 2014

Viper, DesertSci’s innovative ligand design tool using hotspot searching and fragment linking, has been further developed and fine-tuned to provide your researchers with greater insights for drug discovery.

The 2014 release has many enhancements, including:

  • wide-ranging support for MOE (Chemical Computing Group Inc., Montreal, Canada) for the visualisation of ViewContacts interactions, Scorpion scores, and Viper hits
  • fine-tuned constraints now used for hotspot searching, ensuring better quality hits from fragment searches
  • many interface extensions, including the ability to compute hotspots in protein-protein interactions
