Viper 2016

14 Jan 2016

DesertSci is pleased to announce the release of the new version of Viper for 2016. Enhanced features focus on providing a wider range of ligand design suggestions for users.

We have updated Viper to better handle both protein-fragment clashes and torsion scanning:

  • allowing for additional protein sidechain flexibility, and
  • better handling ligand-fragment clashes.  For example, managing additional small molecule flexibility that can accompany different ring substitution patterns.

Another major new feature of Viper 2016, is the flexibility prediction tool.  This allows for exploring the flexibility of key residues in binding sites in new protein crystal structures and is very easy to use within the ViperWeb interface.
