Introducing Proasis4

DesertSci is now releasing early versions of our newest interface for the Proasis System – Proasis4, including in-built graphics.

Proasis4 is an exciting and transformative update unlike any other interface for a protein structure database system.  It includes:

•  a wide range of intellegent database searching tools
• a built-in spreadsheet for retrieved structures
• a built-in, fully functioning javascript 3D graphics application, for displaying selected protein structures automatically overlayed onto one another.

Proasis4 is fully javascript based, written using React, Boostrap, and Flux, and using DesertSci’s ProasisAPI software for accessing data and methods from the Proasis System.
